This is Joyce's second term on the Board of directors. She is a Great Decisions leader and chairs the Village Assistance Program Committee.

Other volunteer activities include serving as Secretary for Collier Citizen's Council, serving on the Grants Committee for Naples Garden Cub, and volunteering at the Naples Botanical Garden. She is active with League of Women Voters of Collier County.

Her career was as a clinical social worker and Employee Assistance Program regional manager. Her last position for over 10 years was at Naples Community Hospital as a social worker/discharge planner.

Joyce studied social work at Boston University and received her M.S.W. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
