Terry Nauck       




Terry Nauck is vice chair of the Great Decisions program.

He is a retired full-time Florida resident who has lived in Pelican Bay since 2016 with his wife, Cathie. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1970 with a B.S. in business administration.

Following graduation, he served seven years in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer in multiple leadership positions. He was stationed in Germany for three years and speaks fluent German. 

His civilian career of over 35 years was in international business development. He was responsible for recruiting and developing new product distributors, as well as establishing new distribution channels in Europe and North and South America in various energy- and technology-related markets.

He has extensive nonprofit board experience, including serving on the boards of Friends of Breakthrough Public Schools in Cleveland, the Council of World Affairs in Cleveland,  a local sailing club in the Naples area, and a condominium association in Naples.

Terry has been a President’s Club member of NCWA since 2018. He is an active participant and group co-leader in Great Decisions and a four-time attendee at the biennial National War College Seminar. 

He is committed to the growth of NCWA membership through increased local awareness of NCWA programs and activities that strengthen community focus on U.S foreign policy and international relations.
