Guests Are Welcome at NCWA Lectures!

Our 2024-2025 Lecture Series offers timely and challenging topics presented by experts in their fields at a time of great international uncertainty and change. We are pleased to be able to share it with non-members who would like to sample our lecture program.

People who are not NCWA members are welcome to attend as guests of a member. Here is the process:

  • A member may invite one or two non-members to any lecture. The goal of this program is that they will be potential new members, rather than visiting friends or family who can't join NCWA.
  • To help us make arrangements, we need to know the guests are coming, so we require guests to be registered in advance.
  • To be fair to dues-paying members, a specific guest may attend only one lecture per season (unless they become a member, of course!)
  • Members can invite guests more than once, as long as they are different people each time.
  • Register your guests by clicking on the Calendar link here or on the Home Page.
    • Search the calendar for the specific lecture you would like to have your guest attend.
    • Click on the lecture.
    • To bring a guest you will need to register for the lecture you want to attend with a guest.
    • After you click on Register, the screen will show your email as the registrant. Click yes on the button that asks if this is a new guest.
    • Click on Next.
    • Your name, telephone number and email will be listed.
    • Enter the name and email address of the person or persons you would like to bring as a guest. Click yes on the button that asks if this is a new guest.
    • Click on Next.
    • Review the registration.  If everything looks correct, hit confirm.
  • A confirmation of the event for which they registered will be emailed to you.
  • We do not share personal information with outside organizations.
  • If there is any difficulty in using the online form, your guests may register at the check-in desk on the day of the lecture. Please remember to come in a few minutes early and introduce your guests!

Thank you for your interest in the Lecture Guest program! We look forward to seeing you and your guests during this exciting season.
