Robert Roussel’s business career spanned more than 35 years of senior management positions in the international corporate insurance industry, mostly based in Europe. He currently serves as treasurer of NCWA.

After earning a B.S. in politics and economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a masters in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, he joined the AIG Group in New York. After assignments with them in Brussels and Paris, he worked for Chubb, Germany and then Axa Belgium. He served as regional managing director for AON with responsibilities for 38 offices and 700 staff in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A holder of joint U.S. and U.K. citizenship, he speaks five languages. 

Now a full-time Naples resident with his wife, Joelle, Robert has been a member of NCWA’s School Outreach Committee, serving as an interviewer for the Georgetown and International Scholarships programs, and as a volunteer at Academic World Quest competitions. He has also been a Model UN judge and Great Decisions participant and discussion leader.
