Mimi Gregory


Mimi Gregory, chair of the NCWA Program Committee, has been actively involved in international affairs for the better part of 35 years.

Her affiliation with the World Affairs Councils began in Boston, where she served as an active member of the program committee and served as its vice president. Since living in Naples, she has served as president for three years and continues as Program chair, a committee she has led for the past ten years. She was appointed vice president in April 2013.

She also chairs the NCWA Committee on Special Programs and the Global Scholars program.

Mimi was appointed to the national board of the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA) in 2004 and served two terms until 2010. She was elected to serve on the Executive Committee in 2005 and continues to serve on the WACA Board.

Her affiliation with the French community in the United States has included leading Alliance Française chapters in Minneapolis, Boston and Bonita Springs as their president, and she is past president of the Federation of Alliances Françaises USA, comprised of 114 chapters nationwide. She has been twice decorated by the French government, most recently as Commander of the National Order of Merit in 2012 by decree of President Nicolas Sarkozy.
