THE DAYS AFTER A DEAL WITH IRAN

The week of January 18th will see the implementation of the Iran Nuclear Deal and Mr. Nader questions both the continuity and change in Iranian Foreign Policy. How will the deal affect Iran’s internal dynamics? What will U.S.-Iran relations look like? We have seen the growing tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia these last few weeks and query what result may come of that as well. Within Iran, the role of the Revolutionary Guards and the ultra-conservative leadership begs the question of change as desired by the younger population. We look forward to Mr. Nader’s assessment!

Mr. Nader is a senior international policy analyst at the RAND Corporation. His research focuses on Iran’s politics, elite decision making, and implications for U.S. Policy. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his M.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University.
