Gregory E. (Greg) Hudson
Greg Hudson

Greg has been a member of the NCWA since 2005 and a leader of a Great Decisions discussion group since 2008. He has served as Chair of the Model UN Position Paper Committee, on the Outreach Committee and as editor of the Newsletter. Before becoming President, he was the Treasurer.

He has served on a number of other nonprofit boards, including President of the Board of Rocky Hill School, an independent K-12 school in Rhode Island, Executive Committee of the Board of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, Co-Chair of the Deans Advisory Council of Boston University College of Arts & Sciences, founder and President of Getting Kids to College, Treasurer of the Board of Merlyn’s Pen, a literary magazine for students, and the Planning Board of the Naples Chinese Art & History Group, among other professional, community and church boards.
 
A Phi Beta Kappan, his education includes a BA, JD and MBA from Boston University and an EdM from Harvard. During the Vietnam War era and the Chinese Cultural Revolution, Greg served in the Marine Corps with the Naval Security Group and NSA where he was trained and worked as a Chinese cryptologic linguist. He also spent a season on the All-Marine Wrestling Team.
 
Professionally, Greg has been a tax attorney, CPA, a corporate tax and financial executive, and leader of M&A teams. He retired as Vice President, Taxes, of Textron Inc. in Providence, Rhode Island.
