Dr. Daniel Markey will address the Naples Council on World Affairs on Monday, March 4th, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist’s Kiney Hall, 625 111th Avenue, North Naples, at 3:45 and 7:30 pm.

How does our relationship with this country of one billion population fit into the wider context of a rising China and a faltering Pakistan? What are Washington’s challenges as it attempts to forge closer relations with New Delhi? How will the issues of security and governance in South Asia be influenced by terrorism in the Indo-Pakistani relationship?

Daniel Markey

Dr. Markey is the Senior Fellow for India, Pakistan and South Asia at the Council on Foreign Relations. His expertise encompasses South Asia, U.S. Foreign Policy, International Security, and International Relations Theory. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in international studies from Johns Hopkins University and his Doctorate in politics from Princeton University.
